An innovative system to help insurance agents
MAA Takaful Bhd’s continued focus on innovation aimed at transforming business processes earned a notable accolade at the Financial Insights Innovation Awards – Insurance from IDC Financial Insights, held at the Asian Insurance Congress in Singapore recently.
The award adds another feather in MAA Takaful’s cap as the prestigious Financial Insights Innovation Awards (FIIA) is reputed to recognise outstanding achievements of financial institutions across the Asia Pacific region in applying innovation in technology as a key driver to provide competitive differentiation.
The MAA Innovative Consultant Management System (iCMS) developed by MAA Takaful over a period of two years, received the award from a total of 68 entries originating from 25 countries.
“This prestigious recognition truly reflects our commitment to build innovative solutions designed to provide a one-stop-solution for its agency force.
“The MAA iCMS empowers our agents to conduct their business efficiently. This award also serves as a boost to confirm MAA Takaful as the No. 1 Agency Company with No. 1 Agency Management System. I am proud we are the first Malaysian insurer to win the award.” said MAA Takaful chief executive officer Salim Majid Zain.
The MAA iCMS is a solution-in-a-box system for its agency force, integrating key business processes such as sales automation, customer relationship management and agency management via a single, connected platform. Accessible through a purpose-built agency portal, the MAA iCMS has fully integrated e–submission featuring digital signature, thus enabling agents to submit their cases online.
“This portal allows agents instant access to any relevant information and to act on the same at the click of a button from anywhere in the world, thus enhancing their mobility, flexibility and efficiency in the process,” said IDC Financial Insights Asia/Pacific associate research director Li-May Chew.
