2009 MAA INVESTMENT LINK FUND PERFORMANCE "WE ARE THE BEST"

 
Personal Money magazine (February 2010 issue) and the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) have just released the Investment-Linked Funds Performance for 2009. This is a summary of the Industry Rankings for MAA Assurance Funds based on the two surveys.
 
The Highlights from Personal Money are:
  ·         MAA Growth Fund - Ranked #1 among Equity Funds in 2009
·         MAA Equity Booster Fund - Ranked #2 among Equity Funds in 2009 (after MAA Growth Fund)
·         MAA Dana Seri Mulia - Ranked #1 among Islamic Bond Funds in 2009
·         MAA Dana Seri Mulia - Ranked #1 among Islamic Bond Funds over 3 Years
·         MAA Dana Mas Yakin - Ranked #1 among Islamic Balanced Funds over 3 Years
·         MAA Income Fund - Ranked in Top Quartile (Top 25%) among Bond Funds in 2009
·         MAA MCGP 3 Fund - Ranked in Top Quartile (Top 25%) among Guaranteed Funds over 3 Years
 
The Highlights from LIAM are:
  ·         MAA Growth Fund - Ranked in Top 10% among Conventional Equity Funds >RM5million in 2009
·         MAA Equity Booster Fund - Ranked #1 among Conventional Equity Funds
·         MAA Small Cap Fund - Ranked #1 among Conventional Equity Funds
·         MAA Dana Mas Yakin - Ranked #1 among Islamic Balanced Funds over 3 Years
·         MAA Dana Seri Mulia - Ranked #1 among Islamic Bond Funds >RM5million in 2009
·         MAA Dana Seri Mulia - Ranked #1 among Islamic Bond Funds >RM5million over 3 Years
·         MAA MCGP 3 Fund - Ranked in Top Quartile (Top 25%) among Conventional Guaranteed Funds >RM5million over 3 Years
 
All MAA managed funds are performing well and nearly all are performing better than industry average. The legacy issues, especially on the fixed income side, have been addressed over the last 3 years.
